A game in under a week; it takes me back to my childhood days of doodling.
Crayon
Note for those at work: you have to download it and run it. It may not work on a work system; and you need winzip or some other extractor.

Thorntons? Cadbury, Galaxy...
Cadbury has it's place but I find it's too sugary. Galaxy is nice; and it melts in the mouth.
My experience with Hotel Chocolat has been pure; addictive; cocoa and caffeine hits. It is absolutely divine. You enter their shop and try a free sample - you will be hooked.
Best part is that it isn't full of sugar. Healthy, good for you cocoa.

- Games, performance hits and Vista. - Posted 8.29:25 PM GMT, Monday, June 11, 2007 by S74N70 -
I don't want to run Vista. I think it's terrible that while you upgrade your PC the OS you run doesn't stay the same.
That's phrased badly. I'll try again.
I think running new Microsoft operating systems which "take advantage" of your new hardware are poorly constructed. When you try to run a game or application you're using up resources which are already shared out with your operating system's DLLs and also any API runtimes (Java, DirectX, etc).
The way Microsoft 'take advantage' of your new hardware is to increase the memory and storage 'footprint' by adding 'features' such as Aeroglass and other aesthetics and 'features' which you haven't asked for.
Most people will disable and turn off these 'features' to try to lower the footprint. Why does it have to be this way though? Sadly I already know that answer. It's marketing, it's business, it's selling a product. It will probably never change.
And it's why I try to use Linux. I am also going to stay with Windows XP as long as I can. In fact, I could still be running Windows 2000 and be quite happy.
It's helpful that people bring out DirectX 10 for Windows XP which is possibly a 'reverse' of how DirectX9 and below games will run on a DirectX10 system. Emulated; in a way. I could be wrong.

- Credit Card Fraud - Have you had it yet? - Posted 6.13:40 PM GMT, Saturday, June 9, 2007 by jc -
Hello People
Yesterday I opened my statement for my CC to find that there was 4 transactions on there that I did not do. All of which went through the new Google Checkout program to different merchents around the country and all transactions for more that £200 at a time.
Now, I wouldn't have notices if I'd not got the statement and I don't really use the CC for anything nowadays apart from fuel so to get a CC bill thats usually around the £50 actually at around £1100 is quite a jump.
I've phoned up the CC company, they said they thought there had been a problem and had stopped transactions because of 2 charges in the USA (That was meant to go through totalling £60 - same services in UK cost around £200)
I said no, they are OK however there are 4 transactions that seem to go through google checkout that I didn't do [never used it yet for checkouts] and they asked if I was sure. They're sending out a form for me to sign so I get all the charges dropped.
Heres hoping its all that easy to stop. And theres me who cross shreads all statements and recipts and always check the SSL of a site before transactions so when did it happen? I never use it in a shop - only online or at tescos petrol pumps.
SO.. that sucks - I hope none of you get affected by this..

Saw the BTCC at Croft circuit today with TeKK and NeoNoodle.
Fantastic. Everyone should see it.

- Steam Survey Says! - Posted 9.06:54 PM GMT, Sunday, June 3, 2007 by S74N70 -
1, Just over 1% of respondents can run a DX10 path for graphics.
2. About 78% of you have microphones plugged in for voice communication. This will help you out a lot in TF2.
3. A little under 5% of you have upgraded to Vista.
4. Around 20% of your PCs are running multiple CPU cores.
So perhaps hardly anyone is really taking to Vista (at least right now). Fantastic.
